i'm so sorry for your loss. you put it so well in terms of understanding why love can't "fix" things. especially older pups. their time with us is always to short. Thank you for giving Potcake last years filled with love and comfort.

Jacquie -- I understand acupuncture can work the same wonders for our animal friends as it does for us. I wish there'd been time and opportunity for Potcake to benefit from it. Thank you for your compassion and understanding.

I am SO sorry, Ellen. Gary and I know what you're feeling all too well. Tonight I will raise a glass to Potcake. <3

(I just signed up for your SS yesterday and seeing this as the first newsletter -- well, clearly, there's a power at work.)

My condolences Ellen. As someone who had to say goodbye to a beloved companion animal last year, I can empathize with your grief.

It's always a mitzvah to adopt a rescued animal. And doubly so when the animal has health issues and trauma. It's wonderful that you were able to give Potcake a few years of love and care.

Oh, Jeff, thank you for your kind words -- I know how heartfelt they are. I miss our dear dog so. But I'm grateful for caring friends like you. Your note reminds me all over again that we all need and deserve love and care. Sending some your way, along with a whole lot of thanks.
